Where are you located?​
The Crossing On 38 is located east of New Castle Indiana on State Road 38. 50 miles east of Indianapolis, 16 miles east of Anderson, 18 miles south of Muncie & 30 miles east of Greenfield with hotels in each place.

What is your capacity?
Our large Grand Hall is 4,275 sq.ft. and can comfortably accommodate over 400 guests. This includes guest tables, bridal party, dessert & food tables. There is also enough space for you and your guests to have plenty of room for a dance floor!

Is there a place for the wedding party to get ready on-site?
Yes! We have a large bridal suite complete with hair & makeup stations & salon chairs for you and your bridal party. Even cute mini hair & makeup stations for those little ones in your bridal party! A Groom's suite with room to get ready complete with a fridge, TV and game system!

Can I hire my own caterer?
Yes! The Crossing has an open vendor policy. You are welcome to use a caterer of your choosing provided they are licensed and insured. We do have a preferred vendor list we can provide you with that has been carefully curated by our own experience with these vendors.

Do we require a wedding coordinator?
Yes we do require a wedding coordinator.  Our goal is for your day to be magically filled with lots of laughter and tears of joy.  The wedding coordinator working side by side with our staff will help do just that.  

Do we require vendors to be insured?
Yes.  We require all vendors to carry liability insurance and we must have a certificate of insurance on file before the event. 

Does the venue have heat & air conditioning?
Absolutely! The venue is climate controlled for every single event all year round!

What is your alcohol policy?
All beverages, alcoholic and nonalcoholic, are to be supplied solely by The Crossing.

Do I need security at my wedding?
For all events over 75 guests, The crossing requires security, but we provide the officers at an hourly fee. They will arrive an hour before the reception and stay an hour after the event.

What are the dimensions of the tables & what size linens fit them?
60" diameter round tables-floor length-120" linens
